Lapham-Chase corrections?

some Lapham-Chase corrections - Lapham - Family History & Genealogy Message Board - rootsweb.com: "Laphams lived in Biddenden and Bethersden, Kent, near Tenterden, where the Tildens lived. The first Lapham who came to MA was Thomas. He came on the ship Hercules in 1634/35 as a employee of Nathaniel Tilden of Tenterden Parish, Kent. Thomas was admitted to Scituate church 24 Apr.1636, where he supported William Witherell as pastor. Thomas signed deeds & his will with a mark, but his Jan.1648/49 estate inventory included 10 books valued at 13s. 4p. The value of his estate, without real estate was L38 4d.

Thomas’ will was dated Jan.1644/45. Did he die 15 Jun.1644 in Kent? On 22 June 1650 His widow, Mary, confirmed his sale to Thomas Hiland of a house and half acre called “Bures Isle” in Tenterden, Kent, near Sir Edward Hale’s house. In June 1651 Mr Hatherley was permitted to prove the will on behalf of Mary, suggesting that Mary Tilden Lapham Bassett had married Timothy Hatherley by that date. The will was finally proved in Oct.1651.

Lapham is spelled Lappam, Lampham, Lepham & Lopham in various records. Have other researchers found different spellings?
Does anyone have additions, corrections or records of this descent?"
